Cheese Pizza with Whole Foods Dough – See Recipe Below for Instructions:

I personally used a canned pizza sauce and Whole Foods Pizza Blend Cheese.

First I rolled out the dough. It was very sticky coming out of the refrigerator since I did not freeze it. I fought with it many times, putting flour and oil before I gave up and just let it sit out for 30 minutes.

When I came back to it, it had softened and I was able to spread the dough out with my hands on the baking sheet. The over was already pre-heated to 450 per the recipe, so I went ahead and put olive oil on the spread dough, layered the pizza sauce with the back of a spoon, and topped with cheese. You can certainly add more toppings, but I wanted a plain cheese pizza. I recommend adding a little salt and pepper to the sauce after spreading and topping with basil for an extra touch.

Below are photos of the sticky dough before rested, the pizza topped before baking and the finished result. I know that it looks weird, but you cannot always judge a book by its cover.. it was pretty good. Hope that you try this or it at least inspires you. Happy Holidays!
